2. | Middle | Linear Equations in one variable | To create interest of the students and to grab their attention colourful small toys are used in the TLM for basics of linear Equations in one variable like constants, variables, LHS, RHS. Solution of Equations is explained with the help of a balance, as they are familiar with the rules that when equals are added or subtracted from equals results are equal. Simple Equations involving negative numbers are solved using coins and cut outs. |

3. | Middle | HCF and LCM | Objective:To find HCF and LCM Material required:Card board, chart paper, stones.ice cream cups etc Method:first we find factors and multiples . 1. We take a number and take cut outs of that number and make the groups of that cut outs . If groups made then that number is the factor of that number 2.For calculating HCF we put stone in the factor of one number and then other numbers. Where two stones exits then it is common factor and highest common factor is HCF 3.For LCM we put stone in the multiple of both the numbers where two stones exits then that number is common multiple and the least common multiple is LCM |

10. | Middle | Factorisation Of Quadratic Polynomial. | CLASS: VIII TOPIC: FACTORISATION SUBTOPIC: Factorisation Of Quadratic Polynomial OBJECTIVE: To find the factors of a quadratic polynomial by geometrical representation. Materials Required: (i) Coloured paper ii) Coloured sketch pen iii) a pair of scissors iv)Fevicol v) Geometry box vi)Cardboard sheet vii)Chart paper Steps/Procedure (i) Every x² represents the area of green square of side xunits. (ii) Every x represents the area of pink rectangle of dimension(1×x). (iii) All positive integers are represented by pink squares of dimension (1×1). (iv) Lets find the factors of x²+5x+6. To represent x² ,take one green square. To represent 5x , take 5 pink rectangular pieces. To represent 6, take 6 pink square pieces. Now arrange all the pieces in the form of a square/rectangle. Result The dimensions of the resulting square/rectangle are the two factors of the quadratic expression. x²+5x+6=(x+3)(x+2) |

13. | Middle | Strongest polygon on earth | Strongest polygon on Earth is triangle. It is the most basic shape but it is also the strongest one. They are combined to form larger structures like truss bridge, cell phone towers and aircraft wings.Triangles are strong because they are rigid and does not have diagonals. |
